Pitcairn Walks for Juvenile Diabetes
group

On September 12th, 2009, members and friends of Pitcairn Assembly went to Schenley Park for a 2 mile walk to raise awareness for Juvenile Diabetes. This walk was Worthy Advisor Angela Mitcheltree's service project during her term. She chose this project because she is personally affected by this disease and knows that it aflicts other members of the PA Rainbow Family.

Before and after the walk there were many activities, including a rock wall and a moon bounce. Free food was also plentiful, which few could turn down! When the walk started everybody walked together to support the cause. Pitcairn is proud to say that they raised over $400 for Juvenile Diabetes research!
