Rainbow Rings in the New Year
Group

The beginning of a New Year is a great thing to celebrate, and certainly the ladies of Pennsylvania Rainbow wouldn't miss an opportunity to have fun!

Keeping with their tradition of serving the residents of the Masonic Village at Sewickley, and having a good time doing it, Sisters from the Pittsburgh area gathered for a New Years celebration with the Sewickley residents. There were 18 members present representing Faith Assembly No. 150, New Castle Assembly No. 1, Pitcairn Assembly No. 90, Irwin Assembly No. 42, Hope Assembly No. 186, and Beaver Valley Assembly No. 187. Spending time with the young ladies were over 100 residents.

The attendees celebrated the beginning of a New Year with music, dancing, noise
makers, party hats, fancy foods and sparkling juice.

At the "stroke of midnight" the "crystal ball" was lower and all in attendance sang "Auld Lang Syne," a traditional song written by Robert Burns, a prominent Scottish Freemason and poet.

The residents enjoyed the party and the girls brought many smiles to MANY folks.
