Rainbow Struts at Grand Lodge with Lee Greenwood
Group

Once every two years the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Pennsylvania installs a new Right Worshipful Grand Master. This installation was a little different though...

The Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania met in Pittsburgh on December 28th, 2009, to install Bro. Thomas Sturgeon as Right Worshipful Grand Master. Bro. Sturgeon, a long time supporter of Rainbow, and Pittsburgh native, outlined his plans for a 21st Century Masonic Renaissance. This program places special emphasis on Masonic Youth, and brings Rainbow to the fore front of youth activities across the Commonwealth.

To put his actions into motion, the Grand Master requested that members of each youth group be present at his banquet to help bear the colors of our country to begin a show by Lee Greenwood, the man behind the patriotic tune "God Bless the USA." The ladies of Rainbow bore flags in front of the stage Mr. Greenwood was on, and made PA Rainbow proud.

Those who participated where even given a little back stage treat, as they were able to get their photo taken with Mr. Greenwood before the concert.

Special thanks go out to the Grand Master for letting PA Rainbow be a part of his special day!
