On December 31, 2012, members of PA Rainbow gathered at the Masonic Village at Sewickley to assist the staff in providing a New Year’s “Afternoon” party for the residents. The young ladies helped in decorating for the event and escorted about 70 residents who were excited to welcome 2013!
The Rainbow Girls performed some song and dance routines for the residents and helped them celebrate the lowering of the crystal ball while singing “Auld Lang Syne.” Included in the event were some wonderful treats for all, including fancy appetizers and sparkling juices.
Those present represented five Assemblies in all: New Castle No. 1, Irwin No. 41, Faith No. 150, Ohio Valley No. 157 and Hope No. 186. Grand Officers attending were Lisa Walker, Grand Charity; Stephanie Rickert, Grand Love; Christine Phelps, Grand Standard Bearer—Christian; Katie Lasswell, Grand Representative to Kentucky; Kayla Grudowski, Grand Representative to Nevada; Kayce Kushma, Grand Representative to Ohio; and Emily Faulds, Grand Page to the Grand Worthy Advisor.
