On March 1, 2014, Morrisville Assembly was host to Sis. Kathryn Webster, Grand Worthy Advisor of Pennsylvania Rainbow, at a Testimonial Luncheon. It was a lovely day full of sunshine, good food and fellowship with numerous Masonic Organizations.
As the guesst arrived to check in there were tables set up with crafts for the girls and adults to make which are being taken to the Warminster Masonic Village to hang on the residents doors, to follow in the GWA’s commitment to service. Once you walked thru an arbor of greens and birds of paradise, the dining room was elegantly decorated with red table clothes and lace with accents of purple and red flowers, bows and balloons throughout the room. The tables numbered by Lion King Animals were topped with birds of paradise centerpieces. The aroma of a wonderful assorted pasta and salad bar filled the room.
To the delight and fun of all, four members of a Philadelphia Mummers String band provided the entertainment. Everyone got to see the GWA Kathryn as well as Mrs. Sneeden perform the mummers strut. In fact numerous times most in attendance were up strutting and enjoying the music.
The crowd was inspired and humored with Mr.s Snedden’s remarks as well as receiving pleasing remarks from the fraternal bodies. Kathryn left everyone with a simple message “that even a smile can make a difference in someone’s life- so make the difference”
It was a wonderful day to share and honor Kathryn, with almost 120 in attendance, the committee thanks all for their support and help in making this a wonderful memory.
